Vant Research Cell
Building tomorrow's digital trust
CollaborationsOur vision
Vant Underrättelse AB invests in applied research to understand and anticipate how financial crime is changing in the digital age. We work to transform scientific knowledge into practical solutions : tools, methods and protocols that strengthen traceability, legal security and trust in the financial ecosystem.
The goal is to make Sweden, and especially Luleå, a European center for blockchain forensics and digital trust.
Our research philosophy
We believe that research and development is not a separate activity, but a core process that connects innovation, security and social responsibility. By combining academic methodology with practical experience from investigations, we can create new knowledge that can be applied directly.
Research areas
Blockchain forensics
Analysis of transaction flows, address attribution and visualization of financial movements.
Digital identities
Studies of BankID, KYC and decentralized models (Self-Sovereign Identity).
Authenticity and digital evidence
Combating fake documents, deepfakes and data manipulation. Development of methods for certification, timestamping and validation of digital evidence.
Vant Research Cell
Establishment of a research unit in Luleå dedicated to Digital Trust where academia, business and institutions meet to create tomorrow's framework for cybersecurity and financial integrity.
We are convinced that blockchain will function as a protective mechanism for artificial intelligence: where AI can manipulate or falsify, blockchain can authenticate, timestamp and preserve integrity.
